Today we are heading off to athletics to put into action all the practice we have done with our shot-put, long jump, high jump, discus and running. Wish us luck!
The Year Sixes were welcomed in Week Three with an afternoon tea and guest speakers that included Mr McKenzie (our principal), Mrs Lois Heads (BOT Chairperson) and Aaron Barclay (junior triathlete champion).

Aaron spoke to the group about the importance of using failure as a stepping stone to success - using disappointment to motivate yourself to work harder and succeed. His words were very inspirational and down to earth and parents, staff and children alike all enjoyed his speech. We wish him all the best for his sporting season this year.
The Student Council were announced. The successful candidates are: Liam Cameron, Anton Musalov, Rhiannon Gorman, Kim Heads, Josh Jolly and Mckenzie Smith. We know these pupils will do a fantastic job representing the pupils throughout the year. Congratulations to the six of you and commisserations to the others who missed out.
